Why we are choosing a digital future

After many wonderful years in the cozy Klaasstraat in Venlo, a big change is coming for Kado in Huis. As of June 20th, we will permanently close the doors of our physical store. But don't worry: we are not disappearing! Kado in Huis is transforming into a 100% online gift webshop. In this blog, we share the story behind our decision, look back on our journey, and share how we will bring you even better unique gifts online.

Running our gift shop in Venlo has been a dream come true. Day in, day out, we thoroughly enjoyed the chats, advising customers, and wrapping up the most beautiful presents. However, the retail world is changing rapidly. To prepare Kado in Huis for the future, we have made the decision: from the end of June, we will put all our love, energy, and passion into our online store.

What does this mean for you? Only good news! Our service, passion, and unique collection of more than 1000 gift items are simply moving with us to the internet.

We understand that our regular visitors will miss the physical store. That is why we promise that the online experience will remain just as personal as you are used to from us:

1.Wrapped with love: Every gift you order online will still be beautifully wrapped by hand. Just as if you had bought it at our shop counter!

2.Personal note: You can add a personal message to your online order. We will write this by hand on a beautiful card for the recipient.

3.Fast and reliable delivery: Ordered before 17:00 means we will ship your package the very same day. Furthermore, shipping is free for orders above €49.
